Infusion pump is an instrument that can accurately control the number of drops or the flow rate of infusion to ensure that the drug can enter the patient's body at an even rate, the amount of drug is accurate and safe to play a role.
Infusion pump is a kind of instrument that can accurately control the number of drops or the flow rate of infusion to ensure that the drug can enter the patient's body to play a role at a uniform speed, the amount of drug accurately and safely, and at the same time, it is a kind of intelligent infusion device, and the speed of infusion is not affected by the human body's back pressure and the operator, and the infusion is accurate and reliable, which can help to reduce the intensity of the work of clinical nursing, and improve the accuracy and safety of infusion as well as the quality of nursing care.
The product is used in conjunction with a matching infusion set to control the flow of liquids (medication, nutrient solution, etc.) injected into the patient's body through the positive pressure generated by the infusion pump.
It mainly consists of microcomputer system, pump device, monitoring device, alarm device and input and display device.
(1) Prepare medication in the treatment room according to the doctor's instructions, check the quality of the medication, deterioration, discoloration, turbidity, whether the mouth of the bottle is loosened, the expiration date, after sawing, sterilize the cotton swabs with Androfoamphetamine, aspirate the medication, add the medication according to the principle of asepsis and mix it well. On the bottle label, indicate the name, bed number, name of the added drug and dosage, ask the second person to check, and assist the patient to take a comfortable lying position.
(2) Adjust the rate of infusion and the scheduled volume of infusion according to medical advice.
(3) Tie the tourniquet, select the blood vessel correctly, loosen the tourniquet, sterilize the skin with Andover, leave it to dry, prepare the infusion patch, tie the tourniquet, sterilize the skin again with Andover, perform the puncture, and fix it correctly.
(4) Record medications in the infusion pump, fluid volume, and rate of infusion.
To prolong the life of the infusion pump and to maintain the stability of its infusion, please follow the instructions below:
(1) Prevent any solid particles from entering the infusion pump body by removing any solid particles from the mobile phase beforehand. Sand filter rods (or tablets) should be attached to all pump inlets, and the filters in the infusion pump should be changed frequently.
(2) The mobile phase should not contain any corrosive substances, and the mobile phase containing buffer should not be retained in the pump.
(3) Infusion pump work should be careful to prevent the mobile phase in the solvent bottle is used up, otherwise the empty pump operation also wear plunger, sealing ring or cylinder, and ultimately produce liquid leakage.
(4) The operating pressure of the infusion pump should not exceed the maximum pressure specified.
(5) The mobile phase should be degassed first, so as not to produce air bubbles in the pump, affecting the stability of the flow rate.
(1)Do not touch the power plug with wet hands when operating the infusion pump.
(2)Cannot be used in direct sunlight or bright light.
(3)The sensor plug must be plugged in tightly when in use, otherwise it will result in not working properly.
(4)When not in use, put it on the seat on the top of the infusion pump to lock it and avoid bumping it when moving it for storage.
(5)When charging, turn the power switch off before charging.
(6)If you are using it for the first time or reusing it after not using it for a long time, fully charge the battery before starting to use it.
(7)Do not store infusion pumps where they are exposed to direct airflow of cold and humidity from fans, air conditioners, stoves, heaters, humidifiers, or other sources.
Alarm type | Alarm Code | Treatment |
[Bubble Alarm] | not | Check for captured air in lines |
Remove the patient line from the patient and exhaust the air out of the system
Check for proper installation of piping in the bubble sensor
Check the surface of the bubble sensor for dirt and dispose of it
Check piping for damage
[Blocking Alarm] | not | Check patient connections for "bulging" and replace connections |
Check the patient's lines for kink sites and address them
Lower blocking sensitivity needs to be selected if no anomalies are found
[Door Opening Alarm] | not | Check the door to make sure it's closed. |
[Undervoltage Alarm] | not | When the undervoltage alarm occurs, the infusion pump's working time is limited, and it needs to be connected to the AC in time to work. |
[Drop Count Alarm] | not | Check that the drop count sensor is being used correctly |
[Alarms Sounding After Injections] | not | Normal completion of infusion according to the set parameters |
[Motor speed too slow or abnormal motor monitor] | Er-1 | Confirm that the battery is sufficiently charged or working in AC condition |
Contact the manufacturer for processing
[Motor speed is too fast or motor monitor is abnormal] | Er-2 | Contact the manufacturer for processing |
[The actual number of drops detected when the drop sensor is used is smaller than the set value.] | Er-3 | Check that the drop count sensor is being used correctly |
Contact the manufacturer for processing
[The actual number of drops detected when using a drop sensor is greater than the set value] | Er-4 | Check that the drop count sensor is being used correctly |
Contact the manufacturer for processing
[Motor Reversing] | Er-5 | Stop the infusion immediately |
Contact the manufacturer for processing
[Pressure Sensor Detection Failure] | Er-P | Reboot and reload the infusion line |
Contact the manufacturer for processing |
It is suitable for newborns, women in labor, elderly patients, cancer patients, nutritional patients, and surgical patients.
Mainly in the hospital's internal medicine (theology, cardiology is the main departments), oncology, ICU, CCU (each bed at least one infusion pump, a syringe pump. Standard two infusion pumps, two Syringe pumps), NICU (neonatal intensive care unit), part of the surgery, emergency and other departments to use.
